    One sunny day I went to a Mercadito Pop [a fair] and discovered an amazing electric blue felted hat I just had to have to protect me from the harsh sun we get here at the high altitude of La Paz.   • Dictator International Fashion Show

    Foreign Policy has a string of nice pictures showing some of our preferred authoritarian leaders in different outfits. When the magazine stated that “shoes are height enhancers for the diminutive [leader]”, I first thought it was referring to President Sarkozy, but I was wrong, they were talking of the Great Leader Kim Jong-Il. Please note that “the chest full of medals [remains] the ultimate dictator bling”, and that “the walking cane is this season’s hottest accessory”.
