To kick off the new year, we’d like to warmly thank you for your continuous reading and support throughout 2011… Indeed, Making Sense of Things is growing, and was viewed more than 53,000 times in 2011! The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people, so if it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 20 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Here are some more crunchy numbers for you:
- Most visitors came from Australia. The United States & The United Kingdom were not far behind.
- We also had visitors from New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Israel/Palestine, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Chile, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Zambia, among others… We’d love to visit you! 🙂
- These are the posts that got the most views in 2011:
2011 saw us permaculturing in Australia, Palestine, France; working in Honduras, Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, the UK and Gaza; completing a PhD; hiking in Switzerland; getting a Permaculture Design Certificate; eco-building natural homes; making cheese and dairy products, bread, rocket stove, cob ovens, pallet chairs, upcycled clothes… ; but also meeting a number of inspiring people, loving, crying, thinking, reading and writing 22 posts! We’ve been also lucky enough to welcome friends’ babies into the world, celebrate friends’ marriages and engagements, as well as sharing family and friends new beginnings.
We are now preparing for the next stage of our life… so no doubt 2012 will be even more exciting and humbling. We’ll be looking to settle somewhere for at least a couple of years so we hope you’ll come and join us!
Last but not least, we wish you a very fulfilling New Year… may it bring you love, inner satisfaction, good surprises, peace and whatever else you wish for!
Thanks again… and looking forward to continuing exchanging with you… either on this blog or via Facebook.
